urgent
need, please help!
Maggie was hit by a
low life who is going around running over dogs, just because he can.
Not only is Maggie suffering from this jerks stupidity, but there is
a little boy who saw everything happen right before him at his bus
stop. At least he was able to tell the law what color the truck
was!
Maggie will be put
down Monday if I don't get her some help or get her rescued out of
here. She was rolled by the truck and has a little road rash on her
here and there, but most importantly, she can't put any weight on
her left front leg. Broken paw, dislocated shoulder, ???? I wish I
knew. Not being a Vet. I have no clue. But I can't stand the thought
of such a good girl going out like this. If she dies, not only does
he win, but the world would be shy one great girl!!!!
Best I can tell
Maggie is an American/Olde English Bulldog and Mastiff mix. She is
as sweet as anyone could ask for, lets me put my hand all in her
food bowl, mouth, rub her belly, anything I want to do, she is fine
with. She never even whimpered when Jody manipulated her leg to see
if maybe we could see what was wrong. She is a chunky girl.....but
hey, don't knock her for liking Twinkies!!!
As you can tell by
her picture, she is not comfortable, and she is scared. She is on a
pallet now, we just wanted to get a picture as fast as we could so
that we can get this out to everyone. I will have to say good bye to
her Monday if we don't get her some help.
Once again, I call
on my angels to help me save the special ones who need us the most.
This girl was a victim of sheer violence. I beg you all to help me
not let her be a number on a log sheet in a euthanasia room. Here is
my personal cell phone number, PLEASE only call me if you are able
to come get her out of here this weekend. I will meet someone at the
shelter to get her to a safe place. I know the picture looks mean,
but she is scared and hurting....so please don't let a picture fool
you.
Once again, I can't thank you
all enough.
Without me and this computer, she has no voice,
without you, she has no life!!!
Thank You All For All That You Do, Arnette

up in the morning at Levy County Animal control...and then
drove over to Plantation Animal Hospital... bad news!

needs to be amputated.... her surgery will be Thursday or
Friday..
She is now on
Rymadyl and other medication.. so she is not it pain.
because it was a long drive for both of us.. we stopped by McDonalds...
Maggie wanted a chicken sandwich... she got it.. and then,
after we left the Animal Hospital, we drove over to
Homosassa to deliver the kittens and the puppies, who made
(I do not know, how this happened, Anette)their way into my
car at Levy County Animal Control.... Maggie started
barking... I did not know, what to make out of it ..
but then I saw it....
Maggie
saw the Vendor with the Icecream...bark, bark, bark... I
stopped.. she licked her paws and barked again..
Me out of the
